Tie ups and counters represent some of the most sophisticated close-range work in Filipino Kali — the moment when two weapons meet and the fight transitions into a battle of sensitivity, leverage, and timing. In this session filmed live at the Inosanto Academy, Guro Dan Inosanto explores the intricate tie up and counter concepts of stick and dagger, revealing how to control, redirect, and counter an opponent’s weapon at close range.

An essential DVD for any practitioner of FMA, Kali, Escrima, or Arnis looking to deepen their close-range weapons game.

A must-have for serious students of Filipino Kali and weapons-based martial arts.
