Area 8 of the 12 Areas of Kali focuses on the staff — one of the most universal and powerful weapons across martial arts traditions worldwide. In this Day 1 session filmed live at the Inosanto Academy, Guro Dan Inosanto explores the Filipino Kali approach to the staff, covering the fundamental striking patterns, footwork, and tactical principles that make this long weapon so effective at controlling range and generating power.

Best paired with the Day 2 DVD for the complete Area 8 curriculum.

A must-have for serious students of Filipino Kali and weapons-based martial arts.
