The sarong and malong are traditional garments from Southeast Asia that double as highly effective flexible weapons — used for striking, trapping, choking, and controlling an opponent with deceptive ease. In this session filmed live at the Inosanto Academy, Guro Dan Inosanto explores the combat applications of the sarong and malong, drawing on the rich traditions of Filipino Kali and Southeast Asian martial arts to reveal the sophisticated fighting system hidden within everyday clothing.

An essential DVD for practitioners of FMA, Kali, Silat, or anyone interested in the flexible weapons traditions of Southeast Asia.

A must-have for serious students of Filipino Kali and Southeast Asian weapons arts.
