Abecedario and Contradas are among the most fundamental and sophisticated training methods in Filipino Kali — systematic striking patterns and counter-for-counter flow drills that develop timing, sensitivity, and the ability to respond instinctively under pressure. In this Day 1 session filmed live at the Inosanto Academy, Guro Dan Inosanto lays the foundation of these essential concepts with the clarity and depth that only decades of mastery can provide.

Best paired with the Day 2 Applications DVD for a complete study of this core Kali curriculum.

A must-have for serious students of Filipino Kali, Escrima, and Arnis.
