Maphilindo Silat is Guro Dan Inosanto’s synthesis of Pencak Silat systems from Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia — a flowing, deceptive, and devastatingly effective art built on intricate footwork, body angulation, sweeps, and close-range entries. In this Day 1 session filmed live at the Inosanto Academy, Guro Inosanto lays the foundation of Maphilindo Silat, drawing on the traditions of Herman Suwanda’s Mande Muda system and the broader Southeast Asian martial arts heritage.

An essential resource for practitioners of Silat, FMA, JKD, or any Southeast Asian martial art.

A must-have for serious students of Pencak Silat and Maphilindo Silat.
